Back to School Gifts for Teachers
Posted on: October 8, 2011
There are so many great ideas for teacher gifts out there and with the start of school just around the corner, we've put together a few of our favorites!
- For the trend setter - A sunburst mirror made out of #2 pencils. Sunburst mirrors are all the rage right now, so why not make a teacher version at home.
- For the sweet tooth – A bag of candy with a tag that says – We are looking forward to a "sweet" year with you.
- For the florist – A vase of flowers. Take a tin can and glue pencils all the way around, making a vase-like container. Fill the vase with sunflowers or other bright flowers that your teacher will love.
- For the pampered – A basket of lotions with homemade labels that say – We hope this year goes smoothly for you!
- For the risk taker - A card with a lottery ticket inside. The card can say – I hit the jackpot with you as my teacher!
- For the coffee lover – A mug full of delicious coffee packets that they can enjoy all year round. You can attach a tag that says – A little something to get you back to the GRIND.
- For the math teacher – Wrap a new calculator in cellophane and attach a tag that says – According to my calculations this is going to be a great year!
- For the germ-a-phobe – Give your teacher a basket of all the things that will keep them healthy: hand sanitizer, lotion, immunity defense drink powder, cough drops, etc.
- For the chocolate lover – Put together a "survival kit" for your teacher. Take a new pencil box and cover the front with cute paper and Mrs. _____'s Survival Kit. Fill the box with lots and lots of chocolate.
- For the healthy eater – While it may seem cliché to bring your teacher an apple, healthy teachers will love a basket of fresh delicious fruit, especially on the first day of school!
- For the candy lover – Some teachers love to keep a jar of treats on their desk for special students. Put together a personalized candy car with your teacher's name on it and fill it with your favorite treats to give your teacher a head start for the year.
